About Plasma Innovation

Who we are

Plasma Innovations Co., Ltd. is a deep tech company specializing in cold (non-thermal) plasma technology and its industrial applications. Our aim is to turn scientific and engineering knowledge into technologies, systems and processes that can be put to real use.

Our work spans plasma technology development, test-system design and process development, through to prototyping and scale-up to industrial level. We focus on the food, agriculture and bio-based industries, helping them reduce reliance on chemicals, improve process efficiency and support safe, sustainable production.

Through our Plasma-as-a-Service model, companies can trial, evaluate and develop plasma technology on their real challenges before investing in a full-scale system. This lowers the risk and makes it easier to bring a new technology into production.

Research & Technology Collaboration

From research to industry

Plasma Innovations builds on plasma technology knowledge and experience developed through research at the Plasma Research Laboratory, Kasetsart University. We take expertise in plasma physics, electrical engineering, plasma source design and plasma applications and develop it further into systems, processes and technologies that can be used in practice.

Plasma Innovations and the Plasma Research Laboratory are separate organizations that collaborate on research and technology development. The partnership links the laboratory’s academic and research expertise with the company’s capabilities in engineering, system development, application and industrial scale-up.

This collaboration connects the full path from Research → Engineering → Application → Industry, so that technology development rests on a sound scientific basis while staying adaptable to the constraints and needs of real-world use.

Plasma Innovations
has grown from building on plasma know-how and research into developing technology for industry. Key milestones:

Present2026

Preparing to scale up and expand the market
Running a project to develop and expand the Plasma-as-a-Service platform under TED Market Scaling Up, to broaden commercial testing, build partnerships and prepare for market expansion.
2025

Developing technology for target customers
Began testing the technology with target customer groups and developed the Plasma-as-a-Service business model, making it easier for customers to access testing and technology development.
2024

TED Fund grant and team expansion
Expanded the management and business development team, and received TED Fund support for the Nonthermal Plasma Curing Box (NPC Box) project to develop a prototype and extend its applications.
2023

Prototype product development
Began developing prototype products and testing cold plasma applications in the food and agriculture industries.
2022

The beginning of Plasma Innovations
Founded the company to develop cold plasma know-how further, through testing and joint development with industry partners.
